99.9% a month
For each server, on every plan, counted over each calendar month in Indian Standard Time.
This is what you can hold us to when your licensed TallyPrime runs on a TallyoCloud cloud server: the uptime we commit to and how it is measured, what does not count as downtime, how we prioritise support, how backups and restores work, how we tell you about incidents, and the credit you get when we fall short.
The TallyoCloud SLA commits every plan to 99.9% monthly uptime for each server, measured by external monitoring from outside our network. Announced night-time maintenance and problems on your side don't count as downtime. If we miss the commitment, you get a credit of 10% to 100% of that month's hosting fee on your next invoice.
For each server, on every plan, counted over each calendar month in Indian Standard Time.
An external monitoring service checks your server's login route around the clock. Its record decides credits.
30-day retention, stored off the server in India. Restores go to a separate folder first.
Support 7 days a week. Four written priorities, so a server that's down never waits behind a how-to question.
Every plan, whether single-user, multi-user or 25+ users, carries the same monthly uptime commitment: 99.9% for each server, counted over each calendar month. A written agreement for 25+ users or a CA firm can add stricter terms, but never weaker ones. Plan details are on our pricing page.
A 30-day month has 43,200 minutes, a 31-day month 44,640 and February 40,320, or 41,760 in a leap year. The table shows how much downtime a 99.9% commitment leaves for each length of month. Anything beyond that allowance earns you a credit.
| Month length | Minutes in the month | Downtime allowed at 99.9% |
|---|---|---|
| 28 days (February) | 40,320 | Minutes × (100% − 99.9%) |
| 29 days (leap-year February) | 41,760 | Minutes × (100% − 99.9%) |
| 30 days | 43,200 | Minutes × (100% − 99.9%) |
| 31 days | 44,640 | Minutes × (100% − 99.9%) |
Public status page. When our public status page with incident history goes live, we will link it here, so anyone can check our record. Until then, affected customers hear about every incident directly on WhatsApp, and the monthly monitoring report for your server is yours on request.
An SLA is only as honest as its exclusions, so here they are in full. We keep them narrow: anything that goes wrong inside our servers, storage, network, gateway or data-centre power counts against us, including a single failed disk or switch.
Windows Server needs security updates, and we would rather patch on a quiet night than leave a known hole open. For planned work to be excluded from downtime, we must:
Emergency security patches, for example when a flaw is being actively exploited, are announced as soon as they are scheduled. If we cannot warn you before we start, that time counts as downtime.
If your server's uptime for a month falls below 99.9%, you get a service credit. The size of the credit depends on how badly we missed, measured as the downtime beyond that month's allowance.
| Downtime beyond the month's allowance | Credit, as a share of that month's hosting fee for the affected server |
|---|---|
| Any amount, up to 1 hour | 10% |
| More than 1 hour, up to 6 hours | 25% |
| More than 6 hours, up to 24 hours | 50% |
| More than 24 hours | 100% |
Move the slider to the downtime counted for a month. The matching row of the credit table lights up.

An illustration of the rules on this page. The monitoring record for your server and our written reply decide the actual credit.
Support 7 days a week. Requests are handled by priority, not in the order they arrive. Tell us how many people are affected and what they see; we set the priority from that, and you can always ask us to raise it.
| Priority | Examples | How to reach us | What we do |
|---|---|---|---|
| P1UrgentServer down or a security scare | Nobody can log in; TallyPrime won't open any company; files renamed or a ransom note on screen | Call +91 97168 56953, then WhatsApp the details | An engineer starts at once, ahead of every other request, with WhatsApp updates at each step and a written summary afterwards |
| P2HighOne person or one function blocked | One user locked out; printing fails for everyone; you need a company restored today | WhatsApp, with a screenshot of any error | Next in line after urgent work, ahead of all normal requests |
| P3NormalQuestions and small changes | Adding a printer; exporting to Excel; a new user login; a how-to question | WhatsApp or e-mail tallyocloud@gmail.com | Handled in the order received, during support hours |
| P4PlannedWork you schedule | Extra users for audit season; a plan change; moving another company to the server | WhatsApp or e-mail | Booked with you for a time that doesn't disturb your books |
We don't print a response time in minutes until we have measured it. Targets for each priority and plan will appear in this table once we have a full quarter of real tickets behind them, the same rule we follow for restore times. Step-by-step fixes for common problems are on our support page.
Your server is backed up automatically: Daily automated backups, with 30-day retention, stored off the server in India. Our security page explains each backup layer, including the locked copy that ransomware cannot change.
Recovery point and recovery time targets in hours will be published here only once we have timed real restores in drills across a full quarter. A restore time nobody has measured is a guess, and we would rather show you the process than a number. Daily backups kept in India also help with the new daily-backup duty explained in our Rule 46(8) guide.
When something breaks, silence is the worst part. This is the sequence we follow for every incident that affects your server.
External monitoring flags the outage, or a customer reports it. Downtime is counted from the earlier of the two once we confirm the fault is ours.
What is affected, what we know so far, whether any data is at risk and when you will hear from us next.
You don't have to chase us. Each change in the situation, including a revised estimate, reaches you on the same chat.
We confirm users can log in and that companies open with their latest entries before we call it closed.
The cause, start and end times, the downtime counted under this SLA, any credit due and what we are changing so it doesn't happen again.
As a cloud provider in India, we follow the CERT-In Directions of 28 April 2022: reportable cyber incidents go to CERT-In within six hours of our noticing them, and our system logs are kept in India for 180 days. If an incident touches personal data, our privacy policy sets out how we tell you and what we hand over so you can meet your own duties.
If an incident summary we sent already shows the month crossing the allowance, it includes the credit calculation, so you don't have to ask. Disagree with our figures? Ask for the raw monitoring record. If we still can't settle it, our Grievance Officer handles the complaint; the details are on our contact page.
Whether you choose us or another host, these six questions separate a real Tally cloud SLA from a percentage on a banner.
For reference, Tally Solutions' own TallyPrime Cloud Access page and FAQ did not state an uptime commitment or data-centre region when we checked on 6 October 2026. Our side-by-side is in TallyPrime Cloud Access vs Tally on Cloud, and the full buyer's checklist is in how to choose a Tally on Cloud provider.
This SLA forms part of our terms of service. We may improve it at any time. A change that reduces your commitments never applies in the middle of a term you have paid for: it takes effect from your next renewal, and we e-mail you before it does. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version, and earlier versions are available on request.
Every TallyoCloud plan carries a monthly uptime commitment of 99.9% for each server, measured over each calendar month by external monitoring that checks from outside our network. Downtime is time when nobody can log in because of a fault on our side. If a month falls short, you get a service credit of 10% to 100% of that month's hosting fee, applied to your next invoice.
Only if we break our own rules. Planned maintenance is excluded when we announce it in advance on WhatsApp and e-mail with the date, start time and expected length, and do it late at night. We never plan work in the last days of a month or on GST return due dates. Any overrun, and emergency work started without notice, counts as downtime.
We work by priority, not by queue order. Urgent problems, such as a server that is down, nobody being able to log in or a suspected security incident, go to an engineer ahead of everything else. A single user's problem is high priority and how-to questions are normal. We will publish response times in minutes only after measuring a full quarter of real tickets.
After the month ends, WhatsApp us or e-mail tallyocloud@gmail.com with your server name, the month and roughly when you couldn't connect. We check the external monitoring record for your server and reply in writing with the measured uptime, any exclusions and the credit due. Approved credits appear as a separate line on your next hosting invoice, calculated before GST.
No. Downtime means our servers, storage, network or gateway are at fault. Your office internet, Wi-Fi, VPN or device, and outside services such as the GST portal, the e-invoice and e-way bill systems or Tally's licensing servers, are outside our control. We still help you work out which one is down and suggest a workaround, such as a phone hotspot.
Yes. Ask us at any time for the monitoring report for your server for any past month. It shows each confirmed outage, when it started and ended, and how much of it counted as downtime under this SLA. When our public status page with incident history goes live, we will link it from this page. Until then, affected customers hear about incidents directly on WhatsApp.
